We're Here For You And Your Family

Our hearts go out to the families affected by Covid-19 and those dealing with it every day. We know that during difficult times community becomes especially important.

Camp Ben Frankel was established to create a lifelong community for Jewish children of all ages and backgrounds. We take that responsibility seriously and we continue to work hard to support all the members of our community through these difficult times.

Three Important Updates

  • We established a task force comprised of medical professionals and risk management experts to help Camp Ben Frankel navigate the quickly changing landscape.

  • We are postponing the Camp Ben Frankel Gala Honoring Retired Justice Richard Goldenhersh, originally scheduled for May 3rd, 2020.

  • We are excited to launch our new initiative, CBF@Home, as a way to share the spirit of Camp Ben Frankel with all the members of our community. Please scroll below for more details.

Coordinated Efforts, Expert Guidance

  • Our partner, the American Camp Association, collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to assure that safety practices at Camp Ben Frankel reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation.

  • In the last week we’ve learned from industry experts and collaborated with hundreds of our colleagues at other summer camps to share emerging best practices related to Covid-19. These collaborations have been made possible through our partnerships with the American Camp Association, the Foundation for Jewish Camp, and JCamp180.

  • We continue to closely monitor guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and our local health departments.

  • We receive regular guidance from the Secure Community Network as a member of the Jewish Federations of North America and we are actively collaborating with other Federation professionals across the country to coordinate our responses to Covid-19.

We'll Keep You Informed Weekly

You can expect to hear from us weekly as we work through today's constantly changing world. These weekly communications will include updates about Camp Ben Frankel's summer plans as well as weekly schedules for CBF@Home programming.
